The naming ceremony was conducted by Mrs. Donna Macleod the wife of the Vice Chairman.
Captain  Ken Gray the Chief Executive/Harbour Master  “We provide a pilotage service to all vessels navigating in the Firth and these two vessels are very important in delivering an effective and efficient service to our customers 24 hours per day 365 days per year. The boats are manned by a small team of skilled and experienced crew and with the introduction of the “Nigg Bay” we will be able to further improve our service”.
Mr. Neil McArthur the Chairman of CFPA said “The Board of CFPA is committed to providing our staff with the best quality of equipment and these vessels show this commitment. We hope you will enjoy seeing these two vessels delivering pilots to oil rigs, cruise ships and other vessels bring trade and employment to the Cromarty Firth”.
