Expressions of Interest Sought for Phase 3 Development 31/05/2013
Cromarty Firth Port Authority are seeking expressions of interest from Design and Construction Contractors as part of a pre-qualification process under European contracting procedures,  for the civil, marine and infrastructure works of their major port expansion project. 

A notification has been placed in the European Journal that the  period for expressions of interest has now opened.

The Port Authority is continuing the development of the Service Base in order to meet the growing demand of the offshore energy market.  The project will involve the reclamation of 9 acres of land and the creation of an additional deep water berth.

Commenting on this exciting project, Captain Ken Gray, Chief Executive and Harbour Master said “This is an exciting opportunity for the Port and for Easter Ross.  We must expand in order to meet the needs of our customers, but also the economic implications are huge.  Once complete, this development should support in the region of 791 full time direct and indirect operational jobs, as well as 177 FTE jobs during the construction phase. “
