Smart, Secure, Sustainable
– Open Trust Port

For over 100 years, Port of Cromarty Firth has taken advantage of the Cromarty Firth’s naturally-sheltered, deep waters to welcome vessels of all sizes to the Highlands.

From its roots in recommendations from Thomas Telford’s 1802 report on developing Highland transport links, the port has evolved from a naval base to an open trust port, providing for the community around the Cromarty Firth and playing a key role in the Inverness & Cromarty Firth Green Freeport.

We work with a diverse business portfolio, including world-leaders in our primary sectors – offshore wind, cruise, oil & gas and green hydrogen.
