The North of Scotland's Leading Port for the Offshore Energy Industry
The Cromarty Firth Port Authority, the North of Scotland's leading port for the offshore energy industry, is an independent statutory body established by Act of Parliament in 1973 and is administered by a Board of eight, who are appointed for their knowledge and experience, being ultimately accountable to the Scottish Government. The Authority receives no external support and is funded from business activities. All surpluses are re-invested into improving the facilities and services offered by the Port.
The day to day activities of the Port are managed by a team of professionals led by the Port Manager who is also the statutory Harbour Master and a Board member.
