Cromarty Firth heading for record cruise year |

Cruise Highlands Ltd, a joint venture between Cromarty Firth Port Authority and Bannermans of Tain, is looking forward to the busiest cruise season yet at Invergordon, benefiting scores of businesses around the Moray Firth, from local shops in Invergordon to tourist attractions like Dunrobin Castle and Glenmorangie Distillery.

Cromarty Firth helps keep heavy traffic off roads |

The Invergordon Service Base welcomed a series of shipments of wind turbine components this week.
The structures are being transferred from ship to road before completing the final part of their journey to either the Millennium Windfarm in Invermoriston or Kilbraur in Strath Brora by road.

Jim has been a valued member since joining the board in 2002 and throughout the six years played an active part, in particular chairing the Audit & Performance Management Sub-committee.

Busy times ahead for the Port |

2008 is set to beat the previous record for cruise ship visits to the Port of Invergordon; 52 cruise liners are provisionally scheduled to visit, some 8 of which will be maiden calls. The provisional schedule is now available for you to download Click Here
During the next six months CFPA also expect 7 rigs to come into the Service Base for IRM (inspection, repair and maintenance) works.
