Blue Marlin
The massive Blue Marlin vessel carrier, 76,000 tonnes and 225 metres long, arrived off the Cromarty Firth shortly after midnight on the 21st February 2007.

In less than a week, the two large jack-up rigs - the 'Rowan Gorilla VI' 19,500 tonnes and the 'Galaxy 2' 16,200 tonnes - had been off loaded and the Blue Marlin had moved on. 

'Galaxy 2' is undergoing efit in Invergordon and the 'Gorilla VI' has left for its drilling location.
