Cromarty Firth heading for record cruise year
Cruise Highlands Ltd, a joint venture between Cromarty Firth Port Authority and Bannermans of Tain, is looking forward to the busiest cruise season yet at Invergordon, benefiting scores of businesses around the Moray Firth, from local shops in Invergordon to tourist attractions like Dunrobin Castle and Glenmorangie Distillery. The season starts on 27 April with a maiden call from the 2,000 passenger Celebrity Constellation.  51 cruise ships are scheduled to bring in 44,000 passengers into Easter Ross this season, an increase of 25% in passenger numbers on 2007.
